TAD-220-D Digial µPower GSM Signalling Unit
The TAD-220-D µPower GSM Signalling Unit is a self contained, battery powered two channel GSM monitoring system with a battery life of 3 years (10 years optional).
Capabilities
The TAD-220-D is designed to be extremely simple. It has two digital inputs which can be connected to devices to be monitored. Examples of equipment being monitored include security alarms, fire alarms, flood sensors etc. When triggered the TAD-220 will send text messages to up to 10 phone numbers. The system can be armed and disarmed by text message or by IR keyfob.With a battery life of up to 10 years the TAD-220-D is ideal for use in areas where mains power is not available and where service would be costly.
Low Running Costs
With the TAD-220-D there is no contract involved. In fact, you only pay for the text messages it sends you when it is triggered and messages you send to it for configuration or status querying. If you put a standard prepay SIM card into the TAD-220 you will only pay around 12p per message.Health Monitoring
The TAD-220-D has inbuilt battery monitoring circuitry which will warn you when its battery is getting low. It also sends you regular status messages so you always know its status.
