Tacho Amp
The ProblemPug1Off is a company specialising in engine conversion and body styling on Peugeot and Citroen cars. They found that after replacing the standard engine with a newer model the tacho display on the dashboard no longer worked.
The Solution
After checking the nature of the signals on the old and the new tacho drive wires a converter unit was designed and manufactured which replicated the signals expected by the old tacho unit. The process was completed in under a week and successfully drives the standard tacho. Pug1Off is the sole distributor for this product which gives them a competitive advantage in the market.
TAD Electronics currently manufacture the product and hold stock for call off as required.
